I am calling to request that the human remains found at the Alamo be left undisturbed and be respected.

If the ultimate goal of this process is to protect the invaluable history and heritage of any and all people interred in the Church, then why would the Alamo Trust and GLO seek to remove these bodies from their resting place?

The Alamo is an historic cemetery and should be treated as such.

Please vote NO on April 15th, the human remains found shall be left undisturbed.

Hello Relatives,

We hope all is well with you and your families. With everything going on during this time of uncertainty, we are still fighting the good fight with the Alamo, its’s not over yet! The Alamo  Trust is seeking to exhume the four bodies that have been found to date. On April 15th the Alamo Trust and the GLO are asking for a permit to remove the bodies and study them for ten years in an unspecified location and rebury them in the monks chamber. The very idea of  this is grotesque and the fact that they’re abusing the state of the world at this time during a pandemic further shows that they’ll do anything to manipulate the situation for their own needs. These bodies should be left alone in their place. The Alamo is a cemetery and should be left alone with the protections of a cemetery.   At this time we are asking everyone to please make a call and email to Esther Brinkley to denounce the request BEFORE the meeting on April 15th.  If this request is passed the GLO will have the permit to examine the human remains for another ten years, further disturbing them,  and displacing them in the monks chamber. We urge you to contact everyone on the list attached and include an explanation as to why we are in opposition of this permit. You may use your own words or the script provided.

Thank you for your cooperation as we all continue to fight this fight together!
